The Trick to Climbing Mountains

Off the bat (what an odd sports phrase...), let me say I have only ever literally climbed one mountain (Mt. Fuji). But the perspective it gave me has affected much of my life and *that* has given me this insight: you can't see beyond your level of the mountain - that's ok. Respect those above you, their input, and pass it down. In other words, respect your elders, they know things you cannot possibly know, because there is no substitute for experience. And along those lines, know that there are other paths up that mountain, so respect and acknowledge that, toward yourself and others. But y'all, we're all on that same mountain. We're all in this together. So, yeah, that is my metaphorical "trick". Why don't more people speak of this? I've found it damn helpful! <3
